The video was pretty interesting, showing all the little parts of body language we seem to miss. It was surprising to hear that 93% of communication is not verbal, but through body language. It was also interesting that power could be determined about who walked through the door last, who gives someone else a pat on the back, or even the way a handshake is positioned. The video also used examples of Brittney Spears and Paris Hilton. Brittney Spears used to be very comfortable in the limelight, but now, she is very defensive against the media. Paris Hilton, when she got out of jail, tried to look like a good girl by crossing her arms like a little girl. There were also other very interesting examples, like pointing at the crowd, self-touching to comfort yourself, and also just how people sometimes while giving a speech can retreat from the podium. The video showed a lot of info that was pretty interesting, and it showed that body language means almost everything.
