The Hero Persuasive Speech was interesting. The speaker was very creative. He puts on his costume to represent a hero, and takes it off to show that not only people with super powers could be superheroes. He told that anyone can be a hero, and that we need to be heroes so our society can still do well.
He dresses up in a super hero costume He gives reasons and examples. He says has potential can be a hero which means he is giving eye contact and actually talking to the audience not just reading from a paper.
In this persuasive speech, the first thing the speaker did was to grab the attention of the audience by providing humor and comic relief. He dressed up like a super hero to symbolize the first image that goes into our mind when we think of a hero. After giving an example of his favorite super hero, Superman, the speaker starts to explain how today's society focuses more on "self." (self-motivation, self-gratification, and self-indulgance) Then he gives the definition of a hero and the speaker sites the source of the information from a website; he's giving credibility to what he is saying.
Along with a confident voice, the speaker uses vivid hand gestures and body language to prove his point. He states several main points, explains them, and gives examples, and says that everybody has the potential to become a hero. In the end, the speaker restates his main points and concludes the speech with a stong statement. I believe this was a well constructed speech with a great pupose and strong reasons.
In this video of a persuasive hero speech, we see the speaker grab the audience's attention by dressing up as Superman and providing a little humor to lighten things up. Then he begins with an anecdote about his childhood hero, which was Superman. I think this was very effective because it got me really interested in his speech. His opening paragraph was very detailed about how society is slowly killing away heroes.I could tell he spent a lot of time and effort on the speech because of how detailed and smooth it was. His conclusion was very strong because it related back to the beginning and it related to the audience too. All in all, this was definitely a great, persuasive speech.
In this persuasive speech video, the man is trying to persuade everyone to try to be a "hero." His speech was very good because he caught the audience's attention, as well as mine, in the beginning by dressing up as a superhero and mixing some comedy with it, too. Throughout his speech, he seemed confident and the audience seemed to give him full attention and thought the entire time. His conclusion was as good as his introduction. His speech was one of the best persuasive speeches I have ever seen.
I think the person did a good presentation, and it is convincing because of the fact that it takes very little to be a hero. He was persuading people to be a hero because the human society is more self centered nowadays, and no one is doing anything to help out in the society. He encourages people to be a hero because it does not take up much effort to become one. According to the speaker anybody, even if you think you are a petty human in the vast world of people, can be a hero, all you need to do is help someone, and you can be a hero. You can do big things like help in a school building community service project, or you can do something as little as help an old lady put the groceries away.
I thought he did a great job grabbing the audiences' attention in the introduction of his speech. I thought this presentation was interesting. Although we know no one can be a "Super Hero" he shows us that we can all be heros in our society! I mean its little things that we could do to help our community. It could be as little as walking an elderly lady across the street or as big as saving a life! We can all be heros. And this persuasive speech, shows it all!
The man who gave the speech did a very good job. He was very humorous while still staying on topic and understandable. He was also well organized and seamed like he practiced. His speech also had good content and was over all a good speech.
This speaker uses a creative, as well as humorous, idea as the attention grabber. He downs his cape and slaps his logo onto his chest, supposedly resembling himself as a SUPERHERO!!! :)
This man then starts to speak about his topic; heroism. He informs us about how heroism is slowly fading away as society and culture becomes about self and the "I" factor. He gives us the definition of hero and tells us that we can all be heroes, no matter how unimportant in society we think we are. So he tell us that it is up to US, yes us, to rekindle this character trait and to pass it on, as if a chain reaction. He goes on to tell us that being heroic doesn't always mean saving lives and breaking down walls. Heroism is doing something for others, not for yourself and self gain.
Heroes don't have to be doctors, nurses, or firefighters. Heroes can be us, doing nice things for others without wanting something for ourselves.
The speaker was not only confident in himself but his topic also. He was enthusiastic, connecting with the audience with eye contact and specifying and pointing his speech towards us. He told us to try something, heroism, and made us want to do it! He told us that heroism was a beneficial trait, helping ourselves and others.
The speaker was confident and prepared. He made the speech clear and easy to understand, yet detailed and expressive. He made eye contact with the audience, and added humor by dressing up. He also related the subject to himself; "When I was a kid, my favorite super hero was super man." After seeing this speech I was convinced. :]
The speaker was very confident and natural. He seemed to use the hand gestures naturally and he talked like he was talking to a group of friends. His points were very clear and he seemed to know what he needed to emphasize and what to say and do at the right moments. He also grabs the audience's attention by putting comedy in and speaking with emotion, emphasis, and large to small, natural gestures. I also loved the fact that he actually dressed up as Superman and took it off to show that you don't need superpowers to be a hero.
this video was very intersting the speaker put on a costume and he was confident and not afraid. he was organized and prepared, he has an attention grabber and later he takes off the costume to prove that you dont need some fancy costume or magic superpowers, that you can always be a superhero.
This heroism speech was interesting and effective in many ways. The speaker did a profound job of explaining heroism, supporting his purpose with valid ideas and explaining those ideas in a way meaningful to all his listeners. Using visual aids as well as citing credible sources, it was evident the speaker was well-rehearsed, confident, comfortable, and earnest about his cause. The speaker went on to explain that the heroes in our lives are not just people with superhuman abilities and the power to fly - there are heroes in all of us, whether a doctor or a nurse or just someone who helps another take groceries to their car. The speaker spoke not the audience in general, but seemed to personalize the issue, narrowing it down to what we could do, as individuals, to become everyday heroes. The speaker explained his message in a very effective, understandable way, supporting all his claims and bringing it back to the fact that there is a hero in all of us. His ideas were clear, his thesis evident, so it was easy to follow along. He also added some comedy, making his speech, all in all, very persuasive indeed.
His speech was inspirational, sure just because you have superpowers that doesnt mean that you necessarily a hero. What i am trying to say is that you dont need superpowers to be a hero, all you have to do is do daily things like saving a cat in a tree, putting out a bonfire before it burts into flames, or even helping someone like your own friend get good grades. Everybody no matter what can be a hero.
In this video he starts off with his introduction as dressing up as superman and humor. Which is a good start to catch the audience's attention. He gives hand motion to prove his point. He gives the definition of hero and gives examples of heroes that we see everyday. It's good because he had good eye contact and seems like he is confident. He was organized and stayed on topic.

The video was funny. He does prove his point, and that is how we should do our persuasive speeches.

It all depends on us to pass on heroism!
I forgot to add why the speech was good...
